About the Venue
Established in 2016, The Free Company operates as a sustainable farm and seasonal restaurant, based at the foot of the Pentland Hills on the doorstep of Edinburgh.
The farm operates on a regenerative agriculture model and puts producing food sustainably at the heart of the business. Farming regeneratively focuses on building soil, improving biodiversity, water quality and food security whilst creating local jobs, sequestering carbon and producing nourishing food for local people. The restaurant opens seasonally and showcases the very best of the organic produce that is grown and reared on the farm at that time of year.

As they say, your presence is enough of a gift! But we really do mean it as we know weddings can be expensive for everyone involved.
However, if you would like to gift something, we have added the option to donate to Alzheimer's Society in place of a gift if you would like.
We would also love to go on a relaxing break following the wedding and would hugely appreciate any contribution towards our honeymoon. Alternatively, if you prefer, we have listed a few home items we would love as well.
